This is a stunning detached gothic style house found in a desirable location within the quaint seaside town of Ramsgate, Kent. Decorated and furnished in an eclectic style with all the modern appliances and equipment to make this property a very comfortable place to stay during your Kent holiday. There are 4 very spacious double bedrooms and an extremely large and luxurious en suite bathroom to the master bedroom which would be a perfect place to relax in after a busy day of sightseeing in Kent. There are several reception rooms including a fantastic piano room complete with half grand piano for you to enjoy. The main sitting room has a modern decor with impressive artwork adorning the walls, floor to ceiling bay windows, enormous marble fireplace and stripped floorboards. There is a charming conservatory leading from the main sitting room which overlooks the exotic landscaped garden complete with pond filled with Koi carp, the perfect place to sit and relax in and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Gothic style church doors open into a tiled porch leading to a large entrance hall with oak flooring and large sash windows with wooden shutters. There is a grand marble fireplace and doors to the lounge, piano room and bar. A stair case leads to the first floor and down to the lower ground floor.
Tall double gothic style doors open into the bar, a great place to gather and enjoy a cocktail at the end of the day. There is a glass bar with LED lighting, sink, dishwasher and a wine fridge inset onto the feature fireplace. A large sash window overlooks the terraced garden.
The piano room has 2 comfortable armchairs, coffee table and a baby grand piano. There is a lovely feature fireplace and large bay windows that overlook the square. Filled book shelves provide interesting reading.
The impressive lounge has cream carpets and large comfortable sofas surrounding a coffee table. Enormous bay windows fill the room with natural light. A flat screen TV has DVD player and Sky. The focal point of the room is a large original fireplace. A door leads to the conservatory/ garden room with stripped pine dining table which comfortable seats six and working wood burning stove. Double doors open onto the terraced garden.
Stairs from the entrance hall lead to the lower ground floor, the modern walnut units with granite worktops and central island, has everything you with need for your self catering holiday, range cooker, Smeg fridge, dishwasher, toaster, music system and wall mounted TV. Double doors open onto a small terrace. There is an opening to a utility area with washing machine, tumble dryer and door to the rear garden.
The dining room is also on the lower ground floor. The large dining room table seats 10 people comfortably, ideal to enjoy your evening meal around the long dining table.
A family bathroom with roll top bath, hand wash basin and WC, is situated on the half landing leading to the 1st floor. Fluffy white towels have been provided for use during your stay.
On the 1st floor are 2 large double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom and 1 double room.
The master bedroom with cream carpets and a deep pile rug has a king size double bed, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps and a wonderful feature fireplace. There is also a TV with freeview and large bay windows that provide lovely views of the gardens in the square. The large and luxurious en suite bathroom has an island bath, double shower, 2 hand wash basins, bidet, WC and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2, also has a king size double bed, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers and a bay window. A large leather wing back chair next to original fireplace adds a lovely feel to this room.
On the half to the 2nd floor there is a 2nd family bathroom, with roll top bath, hand basin and WC.
The 2nd floor landing opens into a large open plan study/snug area, with feature fireplaces at either end, a great place to gather. There are 2 leather sofas set around a coffee table and large TV. The study has a large workstation area with Wifi access.
Bedroom 3 has a double bed, bedside table with lamp, dressing table and feature fireplace. Bedroom 4 has a double bed plus a single bed, lovely feature fireplace and chest of draws. Both 2nd floor bedrooms have beautiful gothic style windows overlooking Vale Square.
Outside the gardens continue to provide wonderful areas to relax and enjoy your holiday. To the rear of the property is a private paradise of exotic plants and raised terrace with a pond filled with Koi carp. Number 48 also has the use of large communal lawned gardens in the centre of the square, these are fully available for guests use and a great place to enjoy a game of rounders, cricket or just relax with a glass of wine.
