Pets are welcome at Buckholt Park, you can even bring your own horse or pony for a small charge! For larger parties and group accommodation all four Buckholt Park Cottages can be combined.

Buckholt Park Cottages is located in the most amazing rural location, as you drive through the wrought iron gates and along the sweeping drive surrounded by acres of wonderful parkland you very quickly realise that you have arrived at a very special place to base your stay. An oak front door leads you into an open plan, light and airy kitchen/ dining area complete with brand new modern appliances including electric oven and hob, extractor fan, washing machine, microwave oven and fridge freezer. A farmhouse oak dining table and matching chairs seating 4 make this the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and cook up a feast for family and friends. Oak flooring and pretty stylish lamps finish the room of perfectly giving the room a cosy feel. The sitting area is decorated in a traditional country cottage style with large leather sofas, occasional tables and lamps providing soft lighting, the perfect place to snuggle up on the sofa after a day sightseeing. A TV and DVD player have been provided for use during your stay. French doors lead from this room to the garden. A table, chairs and parasol have been provided for use during your stay, the perfect place to relax, have a barbeque and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and views of the beautiful parkland all around.
There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor, the master bedroom has a double oak bed dressed with pretty cotton bed linen, bedside tables and lamps complete the room beautifully. The apex ceiling gives the room a feeling of space. Bedroom 2 has twin beds with white cotton bed linen, bedside tables and lamps give the room a peaceful feel. The velux window allows the light to flood into the bedroom giving the room a bright and sunny feel. A fitted wardrobe on the landing offers plenty of storage for both rooms during your stay.
The beautifully finished white bathroom has a shower, a square sink with vanity unit, shaving point and a small mirrored cabinet. The owner has provided fluffy white towels for your use.
Buckholt Park Cottages benefits from plenty of parking beyond the gates of the barns.This self catering holiday home is situated on the outskirts of the pretty rural Kent village of Petham which is within three miles of the Medieval City of Canterbury. With wonderful historic buildings to visit during your stay in Kent, Canterbury offers so much for the tourist with theatres, a new shopping centre and of course the Cathedral to mention just a few. Canterbury itself has a wealth of history to explore and visit being a World Heritage Site, with a good range of restaurants and bars, a new shopping complex and many individual boutiques that make this a must during your stay in this self catering holiday cottage in Kent.
Canterbury is the home of Kent County Cricket Club and the award winning ground a mile from the City centre. It is the only County ground in the country with a tree within the boundary (a lime) and the Cricket Festival in early August is a must for all cricket lovers.
For golfers, Canterbury has its own 18 hole course 2 miles from the City centre of if you want to try your skills on a links course, Royal St George's and Royal Cinque Ports, at Sandwich and Deal respectively, are about 15 miles away.
This Canterbury holiday cottage is near to the Kent coast, which is only a short drive to the north with a great mix of olde worlde beach huts and ice cream parlours and up to the minute water sports for a fun day out. Whitstable itself is very close to this Canterbury holiday cottage and offers an eclectic mix of antique shops and cafes and each summer the famous Oyster Festival is a must!
